A modest convenience fee (generally, between 3 and 4 percent of your payment) is charged for on-line credit card payments and payments may take up to 5 business days to be credited to your account. In order to avoid late fees and interest charges, please budget your time accordingly. Authorized charges to your credit card account will be processed for the amount indicated above plus the convenience fee. Payment collected (excluding convenience fees) will then be deposited to your ASSOCIATIONS designated bank account and will be reported to the Association, its managing agent or designated representative in a timely manner.
The service of online credit card payments is available to all members of the Association and may be used to pay regular assessments, special assessments, fines, repair charges, late fees, etc. The Association, however, reserves the right to refuse payment for any reason. If an online payment is refused, a reversal of the charge on your credit card will be processed in a timely manner. If your account is delinquent at the time you process an online payment, our online confirmation of payment does not in any way indicate that your payment has been accepted, that your account has been restored to a current status, or that the ASSOCIATION or its managing agent have accepted or are willing to accept less than the full amount due on your delinquent account. If you are located in a jurisdiction where the law provides that the acceptance by the ASSOCIATION or its managing agent of less than the full amount due on your delinquent account waives or impairs the right of the ASSOCIATION to collect the full amount due or to charge to your delinquent account any costs or fees incurred by the ASSOCIATION incident to the collection of your delinquent account, you waive such defense and affirmatively agree that all such collection fees and costs may be charged to your delinquent account and must be paid prior to your delinquent account being returned to a current status.
If, for any reason, the credit card payment received by the Association is subsequently reversed and the funds originally received are removed from the account of the Association or its managing agent, you hereby agree to pay the Associations managing agent a processing fee of $150 plus all losses, costs, attorneys fees and other fees incurred by the managing agent/Association as result of such reversal.
